Winterisation Mauritania is a subsidiary of OLVEA Group. Based in Nouadhibou, we purchase fish oil from local factories, store and analyse the oil in our onsite laboratory. Winterisation Mauritania employs 18 people locally.

I was in contact with you in January 2026 regarding our investigation into the global fishmeal and into aquaculture and the global fishmeal and fish oil industry.
We have an additional question for OLVEA regarding our ongoing investigation: It’s our impression that OLVEA imports such a large quantity of fish oil from Mauritania that only very large vessels such as the Turkish ship Hicaz-6 have the capacity to process and supply the necessary tonnage of fish to produce such volumes of fish oil. Can you confirm or deny if the vessel Hicaz-6 is a supplier to OLVEA?
