The shrimp we purchase from Premier Marine does not come from Minh Phu. We do not purchase any products directly from Frobisher. We do not carry Ocean Mama products.
All METRO suppliers are required to respect working conditions across the supply chain as outlined in our Supplier Code of conduct for responsible procurement (SCoC). We assess suppliers’ conformity to our SCoC through our partnership with Sphera.

There is currently an Ocean Mama Organics shrimp product listed on Metro’s website; it is marked as ‘out of stock’ - can you clarify when the product was last sold by Metro?
Metro has not sold the product for a few years.
You only find the out-of-stock product page if you Google ‘Metro + Ocean Mama’. There is a backend issue on Google, and we are investigating how to get it removed. If you search the product directly in Metro.ca you will not find it.

A seafood company in Vietnam called Vietnam Fish One has supplied shrimp for Irresistible-branded shrimp products available at Metro, according to supply chain research. Product packaging for shrimp products under this range carried the Best Aquaculture Practices certification code for Vietnam Fish One.
