We would like to clarify that the Mukka Group and its affiliates are not currently active suppliers to Avanti Feeds. As you may be aware, the Mukka Group operates multiple facilities. Based on Avanti’s current supplier approvals and sourcing records, Avanti has not sourced FMFO from the facilities referenced in your email, including Ullal Fish Meal and Oil Company or Pacific Marine Foods.

There was a previous market disclosure from Mukka Proteins in March 2024 stating that it received fish oil orders from Avanti Feeds Ltd. worth Rs.15.25 crores. And before that, in 2021, a credit rating report by the Indian ratings agency ICRA described Mukka Proteins as having an “established relationship with reputed customers including Avanti Feeds Limited”, which the ratings agency said “ensures repeat orders and reflects its acceptable product quality.”

Since my last email of April 18, 2026, our ongoing investigation into aquaculture and the global fishmeal and fish oil industry has uncovered additional supply chain information which we wanted to bring to Avanti for comment or clarification.

TJ Marine Products supplied fishmeal to Avanti Feeds, according to multiple Aquaculture Stewardship Council farm audits conducted in 2023. Separately, the company Blueline Foods India supplied fishmeal to Avanti Feeds, according to an Aquaculture Stewardship Council audit conducted in 2023.

The Indian fisheries sector operates under an established regulatory framework, implemented and monitored by the relevant governing bodies.
