1. Twenty-eight African workers fled the Jia De 1, that was anchored in Montevideo, in 2014, and several complained of beatings on board and showed shackle marks on their ankles. Fifteen of the crew members were hospitalized. We need an official response in writing from the captain of the Jia De 1 on the above statement by the end of the business day on Monday, August 28th.
